My Platform

No one should ask for your vote without openly stating their objectives and platform.

Education - I believe that a community should have more control over local schools.  As your representative, I will support education reform aimed at granting more local control of public school systems and ensure your tax dollars are spent in the classroom.

Family Values - Protecting Alabama family values is one of my top priorities.  I fully support upholding the values of the traditional family.  All children deserve a chance at life.  I believe in defending every child's right to life and will strive to protect the unborn.

Taxes - I am not part of the Montgomery political establishment. I am not afraid to fight the liberal legislature in order to reduce the wasteful spending in Montgomery.  The state legislature is the final frontier for conservative Republicans.  I believe that individuals serving in the state legislature should not be allowed to hold additional state government jobs.  My top priority upon election will be to introduce legislation to prevent this practice of "double-dipping" into taxpayers' wallets.

Illegal Immigration - We are a nation of immigrants, and each year more and more people flock to the shores of our great country and state.  However, it is wrong to allow people to illegally enter our country. This puts an undue burden on Alabama's health and education systems.  In order to protect Alabama from the dangers of illegal immigration, we strengthen and enforce our current immigration laws.

Some of my objectives

Pass the tax cut for middle-class Alabamians that the Democrats have 8 times voted against.

Return property tax appraisals to once every four years.

Improve our education system by ensuring teachers are fairly compensated and education dollars go into the classroom, not the pocket of bureaucrats.

Pass legislation to stop the flood of illegal immigrants to Alabama.

Make English the official language in Alabama schools.

Phase out sales taxes on over-the-counter medicine.

The Alabama Economy

  • Alabama must have a viable economy and be friendly to both new and old business.
  • My intention is to represent my district and that includes everyone that lives, works, or operates a business in District 45.
  • My experience as a Council member has a proven record of meeting the needs of business and the communities they serve.

I do not straddle fences for fear of loosing votes. Voters deserve to know where I stand on important issues.

If you have a particular issue that is important to you feel free to ask my feelings on them.
